Our social program Support to the Homeland creates new opportunities for the people and prosperity of the municipality of Panagyurishte - the place where the company operates and where our former, current and future employees live.
We have been developing this model of successful strategic interaction for over 25 years - our first long-term donor agreement with the Municipality of Panagyurishte dates back to 2001 and our latest Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in 2024 with projects until 2027.
The sponsorship policy of Asarel-Medet JSC ensures continuity and development of the company's traditions in the field of corporate social responsibility. The basis for this are our long-term programs Support to the Homeland which are implemented under Memorandums of Cooperation with the Municipality of Panagyurishte and annual sponsorship contracts. This unites our efforts with a wide range of partners, ensures a long horizon for established projects and opens up new opportunities.
The sponsorship for the construction of the treasure hall for the Golden Treasure of Panagyurishte transformed museum work and led to a boom in interest in the region. The public-private partnership for the construction of the Arena Asarel sports hall brought Panagyurishte among the leaders on the sports map of Bulgaria, and the modern Uni Hospital General Medical Treatment Facility provides a high standard of treatment and helps patients from the country and abroad.
Our latest projects include the restoration of the Alley of Freedom to the historical site of Oborishte on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the April Uprising in 2026 and a three-year project to renovate Prof. Lachezar Tsotsorkov Professional High School of Industrial Technologies, Management and Tourism in Panagyurishte. We continue иехаеисхж support the local Association of Sports Clubs, develop training for young entrepreneurs and a youth science academy, provide scholarships for high school students with excellent results and encourage gifted children from our Star Class. We do it because here, in the town of the Golden Treasure of Panagyurishte, we know that the genuine treasure are the people with their golden hands, kind hearts and bold dreams.
