Good at Volunteering
We know that a company is only as big as the hearts of the people in it. The Asarel Health Service organizes two voluntary blood sponsorship campaigns and each time dozens of colleagues respond to the appeal for help every year. Our campaign brings together about 200 people during the spring and autumn campaigns, and together with its over 20-year history, this makes it one of the most massive in the entire country.
Always ready to help is the team of the company's Emergency and Rescue Service which - together with other volunteer colleagues, have proven the decisive role in controlling forest fires, clearing clearings with heavy mining equipment or combating disasters in various places in the municipality and the country.
Asarel-Medet is proud of its beekeeping and this is due to the voluntary work of dedicated colleagues. Students from the mining classes of the dual training annually participate in the company's campaign Good and Responsible to clean up the historical area of Oborishte. There is no spring in which colleagues from different workshops do not participate in environmental campaigns for afforestation and land reclamation. On the eve of every Christmas, talented colleagues join the charity bazaar of the Panagyurishte Red Cross, and we all support it with generous purchases.
The good deeds of many people from the company are well-known local initiatives - caring for homeless animals, helping with children's education, supporting a family in difficult social situations, participating in a charity organization.
